Work Adjustment
This program, offered mostly by referral, is designed to assist an individual in meeting realistic work demands typically found in competitive employment.
Work Adjustment is for individuals exhibiting a lack of understanding of the demands of work, a lack of appropriate work behaviors, marginal work productivity, limited work skills and insufficient job survival skills. The goal is to effectively assist each individual in achieving his or her goals.
Goodwill staff members are First Aid and CPR certified. Goodwill staff participate in a minimum of 10 hours of inservice training each year in areas including but not limited to diversity, working with individuals with disabilities, non-violent crisis intervention, bloodborne pathogens, workplace violence, drug-free workplace, and emergency drill procedures.
The current staff in both the Work Evaluation and Work Adjustment areas have more than 10 years experience.
