Job Tryout Assessment
This program, offered mostly by referral, is designed to assist placement participants in clarifying work capability and compatibility within a particular job choice. A Job Coach is assigned to provide on-site training and support. Employers are given an opportunity to hire participants at the successful completion of the program.
Goodwill staff members are First Aid and CPR certified. Goodwill staff participate in a minimum of 10 hours of inservice training each year in areas including but not limited to diversity, working with individuals with disabilities, non-violent crisis intervention, bloodborne pathogens, workplace, and emergency drill procedures.
The current staff in both the Work Evaluatin and Work Adjustment areas have more than 10 years experience.
