Community Work Experience
This program, offered mostly by referral, involves a Job Coach training and evaluating an individual at a temporary community-based site. An emphasis is placed on developing an understanding of the realistic work demands found in competitive employment.
Goodwill staff members are First Aid and CPR certified. Goodwill staff participate in a minimum of 10 hours of inservice training each year in areas including but not limited to diversity, working with individuals with disabilities, non-violent crisis intervention, bloodborne pathogens, workplace violence, drug-free workplace, and emergency drill prodedures.
The current staff in both the Work Evaluation and Work Adjustment areas have more than 10 years experience.
